Best known as a member of pop sensations All Saints, Nicole Appleton has turned her hand to technology with PetScene – a social network exclusively for pets.
PetScene aims to bring together pet lovers from around the world into the delightfully titled “social petwork”. The app will also feature pet-friendly events and activities.
On the app users can set up profiles for their pets and use it to connect with other like-minded people around the world. Similar to other social networks users will be able to share photos and videos and comment through the app’s newsfeed.
Speaking about the app Nicole Appleton said:
“I wanted to combine people’s love for their pets and their passion for sharing cute pet photos into one app. PetScene does this and offers a fun and interactive social network dedicated solely to pets. It’s perfect for people to connect in a lighthearted way.”
Niall Green, CEO of Second Screen added:
“We’re absolutely delighted to collaborate with Nicole Appleton on PetScene. There’s no doubt that people love seeing and sharing their adored pictures of pets on social media, so we’re thrilled to be able to provide a unique way of sharing this content and create a platform that engages this community exclusively – all in one place. We’re sure this concept of a social ‘petwork’ will be a hit.”
To bring PetScene to life Nicole collaborated with London-based technology startup Second Screen. Second Screen specialises in building social media apps that allow brands to create local social networks. Each app is unique to the brand, artist or event it is created to promote with bespoke features appropriate to the intended audience.
The app is available now free of charge from both the App Store and Google Play. Find out more about the app at www.SecondScreenLdn.com or visit the following links to download it now:
